Article 1: Definitions

In these general terms and conditions, the following terms are defined as:

1.1. Contractor: Lucio Karskens, operating under the name Lucio, based in Utrecht.

1.2. Client: The natural or legal person with whom Lucio enters into an agreement.

1.3. Agreement: The service agreement between Lucio and the client.

Article 2: Applicability

2.1. These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, invoices, and agreements between Lucio and the client.

2.2. Deviations from these terms are valid only if agreed upon formally or informally in writing.

Article 3: Invoices and Agreements

3.1. All quotations are non-binding, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3.2. The agreement is established when the client agrees to Lucio’s formal and/or informal quotation.

Article 4: Execution of the Assignment

4.1. Lucio will carry out the assignment to the best of his knowledge and ability.

4.2. The client is responsible for the timely delivery of all necessary materials and information.

Article 5: Rates and Payment

5.1. All rates are exclusive of VAT and other government-imposed charges.

5.2. Payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Article 6: Liability

6.1. Lucio’s liability is limited to the amount paid out under the applicable liability insurance policy in the relevant case.

6.2. Lucio is not liable for any damage resulting from the client providing incorrect or incomplete information.

Article 7: Intellectual Property

7.1. All intellectual property rights to the products delivered by Lucio remain with Lucio.

7.2. Lucio reserves the right to use the delivered products for self-promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed.

Article 8: Confidentiality

8.1. Lucio and the client agree to keep all confidential information obtained from each other or from other sources in the context of the agreement confidential.

Article 9: Applicable Law and Disputes

9.1. All agreements are governed by Dutch law.

9.2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Lucio is based.
